December 2023 Progress Update
With the calendar year almost done, we are here to share some exciting updates on what has been happening with the TFV 2.0 project and what comes next in 2024.
M&E & Research Progress with SupivaaOver the last few months, our M&E & Research partner, Supivaa, has been collecting data and conducting interviews. They are also analysing data and working towards the delivery of final reports in mid-January 2024. Carolyn, Rubelyn and the team have been so amazing to work with! There will be two reports: 1. A monitoring and evaluation report on TFV 1.0 2. A research report on the feasibility and considerations for TFV 2.0’s ambition to design and launch a Pacific-owned, led and operated trade facilitation and finance vehicle that can achieve its own commercial viability We look forward to sharing those with you all in the new calendar year. And on that note …
Attend Briefings & Discussions on TFV 2.0 in 2024We are working with Supivaa and ICDP to convene two briefings on insights from the research phase and early thinking on the design of TFV 2.0. These briefings will be hybrid events:
We will be circulating more details early in 2024. Stay tuned!
Thank You To All Our TFV 1.0 Fund ParticipantsIt’s also worth mentioning that the launch of the TFV 2.0 Bridging Fund has officially wrapped up TFV 1.0. We’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the 15 individuals and organisations who jumped in with us to provide the US$50K TFV 1.0 facility that we’ve used for the last 3 years. When we launched TFV 1.0 in September 2020, no one knew if it would work! Yet we had more expressions of interest in participating than we could accommodate within 24 hours. We are grateful for the ongoing support and patience from these investors through the TFV 1.0 learning experience. Everything that has been achieved to date, and that will be with TFV 2.0, would not have been possible without you. Thank you! |
